Trickle Down Humanity
If there’s one universal need that remains unmet far too often, it’s the need to feel seen. To feel seen in our humanity, our vulnerability, and our beautiful imperfection. When we hold space for ourselves and others to be fully human, something extraordinary happens—a key turns inside our hearts, unlocking connection, freedom, and transformation.
This is the heart of my mission: to create workplaces where humanity is not just acknowledged but celebrated—a ripple effect of compassion, understanding, and authenticity that starts with us and flows into the systems and cultures we build.
As I reflect on the past 18 months since I launched Regenerative Workplaces, I’m filled with gratitude for the groundwork I’ve laid. It has been a season of growth, learning, and connection. I met so many incredible people, iterated on my brand and offerings, and deepened my expertise in healing trauma and building more connection and safety in the workplace.
But I’ll be honest—it didn’t all come together the way I hoped. I spent my energy on meeting people, creating content, and speaking on podcasts and on stages like Disrupt HR and the Rocky Mountain ATD conference. What I didn’t do enough of was turning those connections into meaningful, impactful work.
I was also set back by the constant need to pause and process the emotional weight and grief of transformation — most notably, the loss of my mom. Grieving while trying to build a business is a humbling experience. It taught me to listen to my body, honor my emotions, and lean into the humanity I so often encourage others to embrace.
So, as I’ve been stepping into 2025, I’m doubling down on my new mission of Trickle Down Humanity—helping leaders find and embrace their own full humanity and then build regenerative workplaces where human flourishing and business success are co-created.
The Power of Holding Space
It starts with us. When we hold space for our own humanity—our struggles, our imperfections, our aspirations—we create the capacity to hold space for others. This is the foundation of a regenerative workplace: a culture where leaders and employees alike feel safe to show up as their whole selves.
From there, we can extend that space outward, offering others the safety to be seen, the purpose to anchor their work, the agency to make meaningful contributions, and the connection that binds us together.
As a Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor, holding safe, non-judgemental space is at the heart of everything I do, which is why I built my Regenerative Workplaces framework around this concept.
The SPACe Model: A Framework for Regenerative Workplaces
At the core of my work is the SPACe model—a mindset and framework for creating workplaces that meet the intrinsic neurological and emotional needs of humans. Here’s a quick breakdown:
Safety: Psychological safety is the foundation. Without it, people cannot thrive. Safety means creating environments where individuals feel secure in taking risks, speaking up, and being themselves without fear of judgment or retribution.
Purpose: Humans crave meaning. Purpose aligns individual contributions with a greater mission, giving people a reason to invest their energy and creativity.
Agency: Agency is about autonomy and empowerment. It’s giving people the freedom and trust to make decisions, take ownership, and bring their unique strengths to the table.
Connection: We are wired for connection. Strong relationships and a sense of belonging fuel collaboration, loyalty, and well-being.
When safety, purpose, agency, and connection are intentionally woven into the fabric of your workplace mindsets, processes, and systems, you create a culture that uplifts and energizes everyone it touches.

With gratitude,
Rebecca
